Have you ever wondered why things happen the way they do and why they seem to happen again and again, no matter what you do to TRY and change them? The Bible tells us that “The curse without a cause shall not come,” (Pr. 26:2). So there must be a reason for the lack of blessings and the presence of a curse in our lives.

And though all those who live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution, and God will use those trials to perfect us, not all troubles and trials may be necessary. Some of the things we are struggling with may be avoidable. Things that form a pattern of reoccurrence may be the result of generational agreements that either we or our ancestors have made with the Enemy. The judgment of sin and the consequences of unconfessed iniquity that come as the result of agreements we have made with the Enemy’s lies may be at the root of some of our life’s greatest difficulties. These agreements manifesting as fear and doubt are being used by the Enemy to hold back our blessings and keep us in bondage to him.
