God On Trial (Episodes 13-16)

God On Trial – Opening Arguments, is an audio dramatization of the war between God and Satan for the souls of mankind. It examines the question of God’s sovereignty and His right to administrate world affairs. Satan challenges God, charging Him with criminal neglect of the universe, abusive use of power, and conflict of interest.

Each episode addresses critical questions of free will and responsibility that draws the listener deeper into the conflict that forces them to become the jury and answer the question, “Is God fit to rule the universe?”

EPISODE 13 – THE WARNING
The Prosecution examines the ques­tion of God’s right to judge sin by calling Lady Lot to testify to her unfair treatment by the Almighty in the de­struction of Sodom and Gomorrah.

EPISODE 14 – THE EXPOSING
The Defense cross-examines Lady Lot’s motives and God’s intentions in a fiery investigation into the judgment of those two infamous cities.

EPISODE 15 – THE RECKONING
The Prosecution calls Dr. Law to return as his expert witness to help “prove” God’s unreasonable expectations in expecting the people to follow a set of laws that are impossible to keep.

EPISODE 16 – THE MUTINY
The Defense works to clarify God’s purpose in giving the Law, not as a means of salvation, but as a means of defining sin and convincing one of the need for salvation.
