God On Trial (Episodes 17-20)

God On Trial – Opening Arguments, is an audio dramatization of the war between God and Satan for the souls of mankind. It examines the question of God’s sovereignty and His right to administrate world affairs. Satan challenges God, charging Him with criminal neglect of the universe, abusive use of power, and conflict of interest.

Each episode addresses critical questions of free will and responsibility that draws the listener deeper into the conflict that forces them to become the jury and answer the question, “Is God fit to rule the universe?”

EPISODE 17 – THE IMPEACHMENT
The Prosecution calls Job to testify in behalf of the injustices he suffered at the hand of the Almighty. Satan was still trying to get Jesus to disqualify Himself as the Lamb of God by sinning, while the demons were getting ready to mutiny against Satan.

EPISODE 18 – THE REVOLT
The Prosecution continuing to interrogate Job tries to impeach him for not supporting their claims of divine wrong doing against Job. Satan continues to resist growing pressure from within his ranks to kill Jesus.

EPISODE 19 – NEVERTHELESS
The Defense examines Job and finds his testimony to be sound. Jesus finds himself thrust from the Garden of Gethsemane to in front of Caiaphas. The question of who was really responsible for the death of Jesus unfolds.

EPISODE 20 – THE TEST
Abraham takes the witness stand as the Defense calls his first witness. Jesus is brought before Pilate and Herod and scourged to pacify the crowds. The reality of His Execution seems inevitable. The Prosecution cross-examines Abraham’s faith and accuses him of lying.
