Are You, as a believer in Jesus Christ, practicing witchcraft? Are you putting curses on those who you are upset with by giving words to the Enemy to use against them?
Witchcraft is the projecting of someone’s words against another person for the harm of that person. Declaring wrath and destruction over them gives the Enemy the opportunity to use your words to craft injury against them.
The Wicked One uses those words to bring difficulties into their lives. (Be aware that we often curse ourselves in the same way. For example how many times do we allow the internal guides, the protector demons, handlers or the first person impersonators who live with us, to use our own words against us? “I’m never going to get this? I can’t do anything right, etc.)
When we speak, we are declaring things and projecting those words into the future of the person we are speaking about. “It’s going to happen again. It will not work. You’ll be sorry. They had it coming. What did I tell you?” These are all words that do and bring division and destruction. They perfectly suit the devil and his plan for our death and demise.
Gossip and backbiting and talking behind the back of someone releases words the devil can use to bring evil and bad things to pass in their lives. These words are like sharp arrows that pierce down into the soul of the targeted one. We do not often attribute our troubles to the curses that are coming from the lips of not only our enemies and ourselves, but also from the words spoken over us by our relatives and friends.
You may not realize it or ever suspect that even casual words spoken with a negative intent are snatched up by the Evil One to be used against the one spoken against. He must have our words to bring his evil plots to pass because he knows that there is power and authority in our words as the created sons and daughters of God! He is using our authority as expressed in our words to give to his spirits of division, discord and disease permission to bring trouble and calamity into the lives of those we are mad at. He uses our words as his justification to bring his evil schemes to pass.
Words we use to pass judgment upon another will come back like boomerangs to strike us back. What goes around comes around. “Judge not lest you be judged,” Mt. 7:1, justifies the Evil One in using the occasion to bring the very judgment you have made against someone else back upon you. This is death raised to the second power and the Enemy gets to use the same words twice to work his calamities and curses upon them and then bring them back around onto us.
Many times when we are in the wrong, we seek to justify ourselves or our position by speaking evil about someone we are in conflict with as a way to justify ourselves. We blame them for the very thing we have done. We are tempted to speak words of death into the other person’s situation or future to bring a judgment upon them to secure our vindication.
We do not understand the power of our words. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 18:21, “Death and live are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”
Death and life, curses and blessings are in the power of the words our tongues speak. Beware of how we use them or how we permit the Enemy to use us to practice witchcraft and provoke us to speak the words he needs to bring death into the lives of ourselves or others.
