The Total Solar Eclipse

The Total Solar Eclipse and the Great Sign in Revelation 12

The photo below was taken Aug. 21, 2017 during the total solar eclipse using the Night Sky app as seen on our iPad. More was going on behind the scenes than what held our attention in this spectacular moment during the eclipse.

The eclipse, though viewed by multiple millions who made a specific effort to see it, was presented by the secular media as a random scientific happening, a once in a life time experience not to be missed. There was no mention among all their brilliant coverage of the two very specific and dangerous words, “God” and “sign”.  To them, the eclipse was hung on nothing, signified nothing and was not relevant in the real affairs of men. No one asked his fellow, “What do you make of it?”

And yet this sign was so much more than a rarity, a natural phenomenon, an oddity of nature.

The Wise Men of old inquired as to the sign we now know as the star of Bethlehem and discovered the birth of the Child Jesus. That star/constellation configuration which included Leo and Virgo and Jupiter and twelve stars declared the first coming of Jesus Christ.  That same star/configuration is in the sky right now again and Jupiter known as the King Planet, a representation of Jesus Christ, is in the womb area of the constellation Virgo. Jupiter entered into Virgo, the Virgin Constellation on November 20, 2016 and will exit on September 9, of this year, 2017. Jupiter’s stay in the womb is 41 weeks, the average gestation period for humans from conception to birth. This happens every 12 years. The unique difference this time is that the Great sign of the Woman in Revelation 12 is crowned with 12 stars, the 9 planets of Leo joined by the 3 planets of our solar system, Mercury, Venus, and Mars.

Fast-forwarding the trajectory of the constellations using computer generation does not identify this reoccurring again in the next 1000 years.  So, could this great sign be the Great Sign of Revelation 12? Is this that woman clothed with the sun, which appears on September 20-23, the same time as Rosh HaShanah, which is also known as the ingathering? What is Our Lord wanting to gather in, the harvest, His saints? Is this the time of the snatching away? Or is it the beginning of the period of harvest?

Oh, BTW there are too many numerical coincidences for any of this to be easily relegated to the category of coincidence.  There are 1260 days from the first Blood Moon, April 15, 2014 to Rosh HaShanah, September 20-23, 2017. The woman flees into the wilderness to a place prepared for her by God to be fed and kept for 1260 days, Rev. 12:6.

The most relevant question of all might be, what time is it?
